Compiling and disseminating best practices across all 27 brands to foster
alignment and elevate the overall quality of everything from breaking news to
in-depth data insights. -
Content Innovation
Functioning as a content innovation body that monitors and introduces the latest
tools and technologies to improve editorial productivity and accuracy. -
Professional Development
Identifying and recommending key areas for skill development and enhancement
within the editorial teams.
The members have been selected from across our editorial function:
Jill Abitbol, for her legal acumen; Dipannita Banerjee, with her expertise in content and compliance; Robin Ganguly, for media sector standards and China compliance; Patrick Harris for Europe, M&A, and ECM; Luc Mongeon, for his Asia-Pacific knowledge and focus on quality; Ryan Patwell, for research and AI.

Jill leads the Law Report Group, which includes the Hedge Fund Law Report, Private Equity Law Report, Cybersecurity Law Report and Anti-Corruption Report. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Cybersecurity Law Report where she plans, directs, manages and edits content on a range of cybersecurity, data privacy and AI topics, with a focus on operational guidance.



Luc has more than 35 years of experience as a financial journalist in Asia covering fixed income, credit derivatives and distressed debt markets. He joined Debtwire in 2006 and established the publication's footprint in Asia, building a team of journalists and analysts covering the region's stressed/distressed debt, as well as the leveraged loan and high yield bond markets.

Ryan manages Debtwire’s restructuring data team, overseeing a global database and producing data-driven reports. He also leads the AI Editorial team, responsible for implementing AI tools across the content organisation, and has worked in both Hong Kong and New York as part of the credit research team.
